Fall/Winter 25 - MARKGONG

MARKGONG’s AW25 “Not Guilty” is a declaration of feminine autonomy, a tribute to women who refuse to apologize for their choices, their past, or their intensity. Inspired by the so-called “wild girls” of pop culture, the collection reframes rebellion not as scandal, but as self-ownership.

The runway covered in tabloid newspapers and lit by paparazzi-like flashes set the stage for a narrative where Y2K glamour collides with contemporary couture.

Elongated tailoring, sculpted outerwear, sheer lace, cut-out corsetry, fur-trimmed silhouettes, micro shorts, stiletto boots, and beaded floral motifs form a visual vocabulary that feels both romantic and razor-sharp.

AW25 marks a refined evolution of the House: more considered, more emotional, and quietly powerful. It portrays a woman who is not seeking redemption, only the freedom to define who she is.
